The Social Club at the Spiegeltent : 23rd-27th August 2012

In August I performed another new act: counterweighted rotating hoop at the speigeltent in Shambala Festival. This piece was developed during a professional training course at Circomedia last winter, and I’m hoping to keep working on it to take on tour next year. The rotating hoop is an exciting piece of equipment that was developed by Fred Deb and Jacques Betrand of Drapes Aeriens. Fred now teaches her special approach to rotating hoop around the world and is highly respected as a performer and choreographer. My new act is called ‘Inside Out’ and it is an aerial dance piece where I work with a pulley system to allow moments of flight and to expand the possibilities of dance movement into the air.
